It exists to stop timber-borne pests crossing borders — so customs authorities worldwide require every pallet, crate and piece of dunnage to be heat-treated and marked before it clears. What ISPM-15 Actually Requires

ISPM-15 (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) is issued under the IPPC — the International Plant Protection Convention. It sets one clear treatment target for solid-wood packaging, and one clear mark to prove it was met.

Heat Treatment (HT)

Wood is loaded into a controlled chamber and heated until the core of every piece reaches 56°C and holds it for at least 30 continuous minutes — the profile that neutralises pests and larvae inside the timber.

The IPPC Stamp

Once treated, the packaging is branded with the internationally recognised IPPC mark — the wheat-ear symbol, the country code, our unique facility registration number and the treatment code "HT".

Cleared To Ship
